Donald Joseph Qualls better known as the screen DJ Qualls, better known by his stage DJ Qualls was born in the United States. He is a producer, actor and model. After becoming famous through his role on Road Trip and The New Guy Hustle & Flow he was featured in over 20 feature films, including The Core. Apart from his appearances on Road Trip he has played in 22 different TV series such as Breaking Bad Supernatural Srubs Lost Law & Order and many more. Qualls has been fighting Hodgkin's Lymphoma from the time he was 14 years old. The cancer had gone into remission after two years. But the treatment at such an early age left severe impact on his body and thwarted his growth. The financial security was his first aim once he started, as he'd seen poverty throughout his entire childhood. In an interview, he said that if I don't achieve money security or feel out of control in the world, then I'm going to be miserable. He also reminisces about his youth to inspire him. "Cruelty breaks me heart," he said. The perfect DJ role is that of a father in real life. He does however admit that most directors do not make him the ideal choice for those kinds of characters. One day he'd love to have a kid so that he could devote less time on his career to more attention to the newborn.
